This Atlas HO Scale Code 83 Snap-Switch Remote Turnout features Code 83 nickel-silver rail with brown molded-plastic ties and a plastic frog. The turnout comes equipped with an attached remote controlled, above-benchwork electric switch machine and rail joiners are included. The switch machine can be thrown with a Switch Control Box, 150-56 (sold separately). The Snap-Switch turnout can also be thrown manually using the small sliding lever on the turnout. For track planning purposes, track geometry matches the Code 100 Snap-Track line in terms of standard curve radii and section lengths.
